What the Job Involves
This role involves assisting children and young people with special needs during their travel. You are responsible for their safe transportation, taking into account their specific requirements such as mobility issues, and visual or hearing impairments. You will ensure safe boarding and seating arrangements, maintain professional boundaries with children, parents, and carers, and communicate effectively with school staff and parents. This position includes maintaining records of incidents during transit and acting in accordance with local policies and procedures.
