What the Job Involves
As a Team Manager for Access to Resources Placements, you will develop and manage a high-quality Placements Service aimed at improving placement choice and stability for children in care. You will support foster carers, young people, and families with bespoke packages and oversee all functions related to placing children with suitable foster carers. Key responsibilities include managing staff systems that facilitate successful matching, developing support services, and creating systems to track placements and provide high-quality management information. You will work with the Placements Team to ensure children are in suitable placements, alert senior managers to risks, manage financial and resource aspects, and keep abreast of best practices and legislative changes.
