Who You Are You are a qualified solicitor, barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with strong people management experience and a commitment to excellence. You have experience in disrepair and housing condition-related litigation, preferably for housing associations or other public sector bodies. You demonstrate excellent communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
What the Job Involves The role involves providing high-quality legal advice on litigation matters, particularly concerning housing management and landlord & tenant issues for Southern Housing and its Group partners. Responsibilities include drafting legal proceedings, conducting litigation, preparing training, and supporting the Disrepair Team. You will manage legal work in-house, ensure effective communication within teams, and adhere to legal and regulatory standards. Additionally, you’ll manage and support junior legal team members, maintain confidentiality, and engage positively with Southern Housing.
