Role

Who You Are

You are an experienced professional with a solid understanding of placement services for children in care. You are adept at building relationships with social workers, foster carers, and other stakeholders, and you possess strong negotiation and management skills. You can work independently, provide guidance to less experienced colleagues, and maintain a high standard of record-keeping and information management.

What the job involves

You will be responsible for developing and providing a flexible and high-quality placements service aimed at improving placement choice, stability, and the overall experience for all parties involved. Your role will involve sourcing and negotiating placements, maintaining referral and placement records, and ensuring prompt and fair payment processing. You will work collaboratively within the Placements Team and contribute to the planning and review of the service. Additionally, you will supervise less experienced colleagues and ensure compliance with best practices and updated legislation.
