Who You Are
This role is for an experienced Social Worker within the East Lindsey FAST team, responsible for delivering high-quality statutory social work across Child in Need, Child Protection and Children in Care.
What the job involves
The candidate will complete Section 47 enquiries, undertake comprehensive Child and Family Assessments, and manage risk using evidence-based approaches such as Signs of Safety. They will lead safeguarding processes, contribute to multi-agency planning, produce clear analytical reports (including for court), and ensure timely, accurate recording. Skilled relationship-based practice, confident decision-making, and effective multi-agency collaboration are essential, with a commitment to improving outcomes and safety for children and families. There is an expectation for the candidate to be on site for 5 days during their duty week, which is every third week. For non-duty weeks, there is flexibility for hybrid working. Successful candidates can base themselves in the Louth office if more convenient for travel, but allocated work will be for the ELS area.
