You are an experienced professional with knowledge in adult social care services, including legislative and policy contexts such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005. You possess relevant qualifications or equivalent work experience in purchasing, sourcing, contract management, or financial management. With strong analytical, communication, and planning skills, you can efficiently manage and prioritise workloads while maintaining a commitment to high-quality service delivery.

What the Job Involves

The role of a Personalised Support Advisor involves sourcing and negotiating care packages for adults, ensuring they align with assessed needs, budgets, and quality standards. You will broker care placements, liaise with social care practitioners, and maintain communication with care providers and the individuals involved. Responsibilities include managing brokerage activities, facilitating hospital discharges, applying safeguarding principles, and contributing to continuous communication with providers.
