What the job involves
As a Senior Social Worker, you will carry out high-quality assessments that inform meaningful plans for children and families. You will hold a mixed caseload including Child Protection (CP), Children Looked After (CLA), and some court work. The role involves working confidently in challenging and sometimes complex situations, ensuring children’s safety remains at the centre of every decision. You'll build strong, trusting relationships with families, partners, and colleagues to drive positive, sustained change, and contribute to a supportive team culture where learning, collaboration, and reflective practice are encouraged.
