Who You Are
An experienced frontline Team Manager for the Permanence Service with strong management and decision-making skills. You possess excellent knowledge of children's legislation and assessment frameworks, along with experience in sourcing and managing regulated placements and care planning for looked-after children.
What the job involves
Managing a team of 10 Social Workers with diverse experience levels, supported by a Deputy Team Manager. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, performance management, and providing regular supervision in collaboration with the Service Manager. The position is based in Speke, near John Lennon Airport, and involves managing placements and care planning for the Permanence Service.
