What the job involves

The Senior Social Worker role focuses on delivering optimal outcomes for communities in alignment with the strategic priorities set out in the Kingston Plan. The post holder reports to the Team Manager and plays a crucial role in the effective management of the Chessington and Surbiton Hub Locality Team. Key responsibilities include supporting performance and operational plans, building internal and external partnerships, ensuring effective service delivery and resource allocation, promoting good casework analysis and risk assessment, and assisting in financial and staff management. The role also involves encouraging good communication within the team and with external partners, supporting continuous improvement, and embedding values of equity, equality, and diversity in all aspects of work.
