The successful candidate will have relevant multi-disciplinary Social Care experience and evidence of partnership working with various agencies. Possession of a recognized Social Work Qualification and registration with Social Work England are essential. Personal attributes include empathy, sensitivity, self-awareness, and resilience. Access to a vehicle is a requirement.
What the job involves
The role involves undertaking assessments of risk and care needs, managing a caseload of varying complexity, making ongoing assessments, ensuring statutory reviews, and complying with legislation. Responsibilities include preparing reports, maintaining high-standard client records, promoting equality and diversity, and developing effective joint working relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals. The role also involves supervising unqualified staff or students and participating in multi-agency team work.
