What the Job Involves

The role is based at Camberwell Foyer, London, and involves preventing homelessness through assessments, advice, advocacy, negotiation, and mediation in accordance with relevant legislation. You will manage a caseload for both priority and non-priority customers, conducting housing needs assessments, and creating tailored housing plans. Responsibilities include providing front-line customer service, maintaining detailed case records, and working with various housing support services. Additionally, you will deliver advice and support to tenants affected by welfare reform and work to promote diversity and safeguarding within the council's framework.
