Who You Are
We're looking for someone who is a registered Social Worker with Social Work England and holds a qualifying degree. You should have a deep understanding of current legislation and its real-world impact, along with the drive to potentially pursue qualifications in Practice Education, Best Interest Assessor, and/or Approved Mental Health Professional. Collaborating effectively with external agencies to build strong partnerships and holding a full, clean driving license to explore our vibrant county are also essential.
What the job involves
Take on a thrilling variety of adult social work, from Care Act Assessments and person-centered support planning to Mental Capacity Assessments and Section 42 Enquiries. Apply your experience working with diverse adult populations, including those with physical and learning disabilities, mental health needs, and older adults. Work with a strength-based approach to empower individuals and champion independence. Engage in crucial CHC and s117 work to ensure seamless support. Thrive in a supportive culture that offers regular supervision and celebrates your professional growth. You will transform lives with comprehensive Care Act Assessments and bespoke support plans, navigate complex situations with expertise in Section 42 Enquiries, Mental Capacity Assessments, and more, collaborate fearlessly with a variety of partner agencies to ensure holistic care, and never stop growing with regular supervision and funded opportunities to specialize in your area of interest.
