What the Job Involves
The role focuses on delivering high-quality social work services to children with disabilities. Responsibilities include undertaking Child and Family Assessments, managing caseloads, initiating and coordinating Child in Need plans, and working with partner agencies for safeguarding enquiries. The job involves completing Child Protection reports, engaging in direct work with children and families, care planning, and preparing court documents. The role also requires attending court hearings, participating in multi-agency meetings, and ensuring seamless transition planning for young people with disabilities.
