You are an experienced Agency Personal Advisor committed to supporting young people transitioning from care to adulthood. You possess strong relationship-building skills, understand statutory responsibilities to care leavers, and can confidently work with young people with complex needs. You are resilient, dedicated, and passionate about improving the lives of care-experienced young people.
What the job involves
In this role, you will work directly with care leavers, offering practical guidance, advocacy, and emotional support. Your responsibilities include assessing young adults' needs, managing a caseload, contributing to pathway plans, and working closely with key professionals to offer advice and implement plans. You will also attend meetings, ensure pathway plans are up to date, undertake statutory personal advisor roles, and develop relationships with key agencies.
