Who You Are
The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Social Work and a minimum of 3 years post-qualifying work experience. We require individuals with extensive knowledge around safeguarding thresholds and good knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
You bring strong analytical and communication skills, able to complete high-quality parenting capacity assessments, and have proven experience working with adults, children, and young people across linguistically and culturally diverse communities.
What the job involves
This role involves joining a dynamic and specialist team as part of an internal resource for conducting all court-directed and Public Law Outline parenting capacity assessments (PCA). You will conduct comprehensive assessments of children and their families to inform case planning and intervention strategies, supporting the team's objectives and contributing to positive outcomes for children and families.
The position may involve observing parent-child interactions, conducting interviews, and gathering information from various sources, all conducted within the Maya Angelou Rising Roots Family Hub environment.
