Role
Who You Are
You are a qualified Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) with a Level 3 Accredited Qualification in supporting victims of domestic abuse. You have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience and hold an Enhanced DBS.
What the Job Involves
This role involves providing high-quality, independent, and trauma-informed support to victims of domestic abuse who are at risk of harm. You will work across statutory and community settings to ensure victims' safety, advocate for their needs, and support them through the criminal justice system and other relevant services. Additionally, you will contribute to developing Barnet’s model of domestic abuse intervention and the setup and delivery of the Barnet Domestic Abuse Support Hub (BDASH).
