Children's Social Worker - (Grade I - Inside IR35)

Who You Are You are a committed and knowledgeable Social Worker with an understanding of child care practices, principles of the Children Act, and care planning regulations. With a professional qualification in social work, you are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and possess a thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

What the Job Involves The role involves managing a diverse caseload including Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children. You will conduct assessments, formulate plans, and work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes for children. The position requires regular communication and coordination with other agencies, conducting meetings, and providing evidence in court. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic management within the directorate and ensure compliance with data protection legislation.
