Role

Who You Are The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and good ICT skills. They should work effectively both as part of a team and independently, using their own initiative. An interest in books and reading is desirable, and candidates must be flexible in working at multiple locations.
What the job involves The post holder will deliver the core services of the public library, engage with customers, provide digital support, and assist with events and activities such as rhymetimes and IT sessions. Ensuring a safe environment for children and vulnerable adults is crucial. The role involves working a two-week schedule including alternate Saturdays and is not suitable for job sharing.
