Who You Are

• Qualified solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive with experience in Property and Regeneration law.
• Able to provide high-quality legal advice and support in accordance with Lexcel standards.
• Possess strong knowledge of property and regeneration law, and understanding of the political nature of local government.
• Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
• Resilient under pressure and possesses a positive mindset towards challenges and changes.

What the Job Involves

• Manage a legal caseload related to Property and Regeneration as part of the MKLS team.
• Provide proactive legal advice to directorates, elected members, and senior managers across Mid Kent Partner Authorities.
• Stay informed of legal developments to ensure best practices within the team.
• Offer supervision and support to junior fee earners and Legal Support Officers.
• Engage in departmental and corporate group activities across Partner Authorities.
• Represent the Partner Authorities at external meetings as necessary.
