Who You Are
As a Lead Child Protection Practitioner, you will have a minimum of 5 years post-qualifying experience within a frontline child protection environment. You are committed to improving consistency in child protection (CP) practice and ensuring families experience a transparent and supportive process. You will have the capacity to lead multi-agency decision-making and chair effective conferences.
What the Job Involves
Your role focuses on improving CP practice consistency across the county, leading quality improvement in multi-agency CP decision making, and planning transparent processes with families. You'll collaborate with Practice Supervisors and ensure independent checks and balances in place for families. Engaging in quality assurance, you'll audit child protection cases, chair numerous reviews, and represent the agency in multi-agency safeguarding arrangements. You'll promote children and families' voices in decision-making and support the development of CP plans involving diverse stakeholders.
