Who You Are
An experienced safeguarding social worker with expertise in promoting the welfare and safeguarding of adults. Prior experience in Adult MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) would be advantageous.
What the job involves
Your responsibilities include ensuring that the needs of adults referred to Adult safeguarding are monitored according to the Care Act 2014 and Knowsley’s safeguarding policies. You will conduct safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act 2014, manage a caseload of 12-15 cases, and work one day a week as a MASH duty social worker, taking calls, completing partnership checks, and conducting initial enquiries. You may also be required to cover for sickness and leave. Additionally, you are expected to implement and act in accordance with information security and data protection policies and report security incidents as necessary.
