You are a fully qualified social worker with the capability to manage a full caseload independently. You demonstrate the ability to navigate complex cases confidently and make informed, evidence-based decisions. You are committed to professional growth, including undertaking the Best Interest Assessor (BIA) qualification, and have a strong understanding of relevant legislation and frameworks.
What the Job Involves
This role involves managing complex cases, conducting safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act, and ensuring compliance with statutory duties. You will carry out high-quality assessments and plans, manage risks effectively, and lead multi-disciplinary meetings to support care management approaches. Supporting less experienced staff and promoting the welfare and safeguarding of adults within the team are key responsibilities. Additionally, maintaining good practice in record-keeping, participating in supervision and training, and contributing to team well-being are essential parts of this role.
