| Who You Are | You are an experienced and qualified accountant (CCAB, CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong background in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting. You have significant experience within local government, public sector finance, or property-related financial management. Your skills in financial analysis and business partnering are strong, and you possess advanced Excel and financial modelling abilities. |
| What the job involves | This role involves providing strategic financial management and business partnering support for the Property Services function. You will oversee property revenue and capital budgets, monitor financial performance, develop robust forecasts, and ensure that financial decisions support corporate objectives and deliver value for money. Key responsibilities include reviewing budgets, leading budget preparation, challenging budget assumptions, developing financial forecasts, analyzing expenditure, supporting medium-term financial planning, producing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. |
