You are a social worker looking to manage routine social work interventions while developing your skills and knowledge through mentoring and guidance. You aim to support individuals, families, and carers to identify and assess risks and design appropriate care and support plans.
What the Job Involves
Your role involves managing a caseload that includes routine interventions, escalating more complex cases as required. You will work with individuals and families to evaluate risks, develop care and support plans, and recommend external support when necessary. You'll utilize social work techniques to ensure the needs of those requiring care are met and operate within budgets in partnership with various services. Part of your duties may also include participating in a duty system for immediate crisis response.
