Role

Who You Are	An experienced property professional with a strong background in housing repairs, maintenance, and contract management. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing a varied workload, and balancing technical expertise with excellent customer service. Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with residents, contractors, and colleagues.
What the job involves	Manage the repair, maintenance, and surveying requirements of approximately 5,000 homes across the borough. Oversee a varied portfolio including responsive repairs, planned maintenance, void properties, and investigations. Play a key role in ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and well maintained. Conduct inspections, oversee projects, diagnose defects, manage contractors, and maintain compliance with regulations. Work collaboratively with internal departments and stakeholders.
Skills	Experience in residential property surveying Knowledge of housing repairs and maintenance Experience managing contractors Understanding of CDM Regulations Ability to investigate complaints Strong organisational skills Excellent stakeholder management Proficiency in IT systems
