Who You Are
An experienced social worker with a Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification, registered with Social Care Wales. You have current knowledge of relevant Social Care Legislation, practical experience as a Social Worker, and an ability to develop professional relationships with key stakeholders. You are committed to high-quality service provision, personal development, and equality and diversity.
What the Job Involves
You will manage a caseload of varying complexities, including high-risk cases related to child protection, care and support, and more. This involves conducting assessments, designing care plans, and making decisions in the best interest of vulnerable adults and children. You'll work independently and collaboratively, provide mentoring to new social workers and students, and specialize in areas like AMHP or Safeguarding. Additionally, you'll ensure compliance with legal standards and advocate for the welfare of clients.
