Who You Are
You are a qualified social worker, registered with the Health & Care Professions Council, with experience in adult social care. You understand social work theories and have a thorough understanding of the Care Act 2014, policies, and issues related to adults with care and support needs and their carers.
What the Job Involves
This role involves promoting positive change in individuals' lives, making professional judgments within the legal and policy frameworks, and working with clients to assess their care and support needs. You will plan, implement, and review these plans, conduct adult safeguarding enquiries, and support others in similar work. Managing a caseload, carrying out assessments, arranging services, and undertaking reviews are key responsibilities. You will also have a role in financial assessments and providing information on services and welfare rights.
