Who You Are
A professional social worker with a qualification registered with the Health & Care Professions Council. You have a thorough understanding of social work theories and values and specific knowledge of the Care Act 2014, mental capacity assessments, and safeguarding adults.
What the job involves
The role involves promoting positive change in individuals' lives to help them achieve independence and manage risks of abuse and neglect. You will manage a caseload, carry out needs assessments, plan and review care and support plans, and contribute to adult safeguarding inquiries while making professional judgments within legal and policy frameworks. You will also support the workload across complex cases and contribute to service development.
