Who You Are
As a Lettings Officer (Garages) in the Finance and Governance department, you'll play a vital role in managing garage and non-residential lettings. You will need a strong understanding of tenancy management legal processes and experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in social housing or commercial property management.
What the Job Involves
The role involves maximizing the letting of over 7000 garages and other parking schemes, managing waiting lists, ensuring efficient allocation, and minimizing void periods. You'll need to communicate effectively with stakeholders, oversee property inspections, and enforce license agreements. Collaboration with the Repairs and Contracts Officers is essential to maintain and refurbish properties and ensure all sites comply with Health and Safety standards. Additionally, you will represent Homeownership Services in public forums and contribute to service improvements through technology.
