Who You Are
You are someone passionate about supporting adults with learning disabilities, helping them to maximize their strengths and live as independently as possible. You are empathetic towards individuals and their carers and are committed to working within legal and procedural frameworks.
What the job involves
The role involves working within the Adult Social Care team for individuals aged 18 and up, conducting direct work with customers who have learning disabilities. You will be responsible for enabling people to live safely in the community, undertaking assessments, reviews, and support planning with individuals and their carers, and collaborating with other professionals/agencies.
