Who You Are
You have experience working with adolescents, particularly those exhibiting challenging behaviors. You are adept at collaborating with carers and working as part of a team. Flexibility in your work schedule, including evenings and weekends, is something you are comfortable with. You hold a valid driving license and have access to a car. Additionally, you possess an Enhanced Child and Adult DBS.
What the job involves
Working within Cardiff's experienced team, you will provide flexible and responsive care packages consisting of respite, intervention, outreach, and family support. You will engage with young people at their homes and various centers, delivering evidence-based interventions to help families develop problem-solving skills, resilience, and achieve positive change. The role requires you to respond quickly to families in crisis, prevent further escalation, and facilitate positive outcomes for young people and their families.
