Who You Are
You are an experienced qualified social worker registered with Social Work England, passionate about relationship-based social work, and proud of your profession. You have experience working with children and families in a Local Authority team and possess the ability to think creatively to build relationships. You are a competent IT user and hold a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
What the job involves
The role involves managing a caseload of children and young people looked after by Somerset, from age 1 to 17, to support them in achieving their aspirations. You will undertake direct work with children, work with parents and family networks, and have the support of a Reunification team. You will have the benefit of family-led training and frequent, reflective supervision.
