Who You Are
You are an experienced social worker with at least two years of experience in an Adult Safeguarding Team. You have strong legal literacy and the ability to manage complex and high-risk cases effectively within a multi-agency safeguarding environment. You are registered with Social Work England and possess a deep understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
What the job involves
This role involves working within the Adult Safeguarding Team to deliver statutory functions under the Care Act 2014 and associated legislation. You will engage in Section 42 enquiries, risk assessments, and safeguarding plans, working collaboratively with partners to protect adults at risk of abuse or neglect. The position requires community-based practice, legal and professional responsibilities, and active participation in multi-agency collaboration to advocate and support adults at risk.
