Who You Are
You are an experienced social worker capable of operating autonomously in complex situations. You have substantial post-qualifying experience in a statutory Children Social Care setting and are interested in working within a resilience framework to respond effectively to the needs of children and families. You have or are willing to achieve a Practice Educators Award within the first year of employment.
What the Job Involves
The role involves providing an integrated social work service, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating safeguarding and permanence measures at a high level of complexity. You will take a lead in specialist work areas, assess and manage higher risk levels, support and mentor less experienced social workers, and be an active participant in the Workforce Development Programme.
