You are a dedicated and experienced professional responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of Property Services. Your primary focus is on delivering building maintenance and capital projects while adhering to quality, environmental, and safety obligations. You have a background in managing highways and construction works, overseeing both operatives and subcontractors.
What the Job Involves
The role involves day-to-day management of work programs, maintaining compliance with health and safety requirements, and managing the planning and programming of materials, plant, and labor. You'll work collaboratively with partner organizations and stakeholders, providing feedback and updates during projects. Responsibilities also include line management, coaching staff, ensuring legal compliance with streetworks requirements, and accurate record-keeping. Participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota for emergency maintenance activities is required.
