What the Job Involves
This role involves the comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of common areas within a housing estate. Responsibilities include sweeping, washing, and cleaning communal spaces such as staircases, courtyards, and refuse storage rooms. The position requires rotating refuse containers, clearing or reporting blockages, maintaining clean litter bins, managing plant overgrowth, and conducting litter picks. You will also handle graffiti removal within specified timeframes. Additionally, you will work closely with residents and estate services during emergencies, document incidents accurately, and support the estate bulk-waste collection team as needed, always adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
