Who You Are
A seasoned social work professional with a minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience, having completed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) and spent at least 3 years in a permanent social worker role. You have experience working in an Assessment Team and are available to attend the office at least 3 days a week.
What the Job Involves
As a Senior Social Worker in the Assessment and Intervention Service based at Sumner House, you will be part of an Assessment Team that is on duty on a rota every 5 weeks. Your main responsibilities will include undertaking assessments of children and their families, conducting home visits to complete direct work with children, undertaking section 47 enquiries, and performing risk assessments and safety planning.
