Who You Are
We are seeking an experienced children's social worker with over three years of post-qualification experience to join our Fostering Kinship Assessment Service. You are someone with creativity, motivation, and a passion for delivering excellent services and improving outcomes for children and young people. You possess a strong background in children and families, have a sound knowledge of fostering—specifically kinship—and a comprehensive understanding of all fostering regulations, legislation, statutory guidance, and processes.
What the Job Involves
You will manage a diverse, complex, and varied caseload, always maintaining a child-centered approach. Your knowledge and expertise will be crucial in making effective decisions when recruiting and assessing foster carers, ensuring that we offer stable placements for children and young people. The placement is available until October 2025, and you must be able to commit to the full length of the placement. This position requires a commitment of at least three days on-site in Liverpool per week.

- 3+ years post-qualification experience in children's social work
