As a Family Time Supervisor, you are compassionate and flexible, with a caring approach towards children, parents, and family members attending Family Time. You are committed to ensuring the safety and emotional wellbeing of children and young people, maintaining positive experiences in Family Time settings. Your focus is on supporting positive family relationships and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
What the job involves
You will ensure families are welcomed and supported in the Family Resource Centre, community settings, or other venues. Your role involves overseeing practical and emotional support for parents and children, ensuring safety and maintaining positive family interactions. You will observe and record parenting quality, manage risks, and adhere to confidentiality and safeguarding protocols. Participation in supervision and training is required to maintain high standards of practice. Flexibility is necessary, with work potentially required during weekends and evenings.
