You possess a deep understanding of social work standards, laws, statutory guidance, and local policies. You are adept at working in high-stress environments, with extensive experience in child protection, managing risk, and decision-making regarding care proceedings.

What the Job Involves

Your role involves overseeing all aspects of the Leaving Care Service, maintaining staff levels, and ensuring the ongoing learning and development of your team. You are responsible for risk management, promoting the Signs of Safety practice model, and ensuring adherence to legal and statutory guidelines. You will contribute to service improvement strategies and lead change initiatives, offering specialist advice in child protection and managing legal processes as necessary.
