As a Finance Business Partner - Adult Social Care (ASC), you are a strategic financial collaborator with an ability to work closely with Service Directorate management teams. You excel in offering financial guidance and direction, translating complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders, and challenging senior managers to ensure robust financial management.
What the job involves
Your role involves supporting the Head of Finance in ASC by offering comprehensive financial direction and support across the Council's Directorates, including those with capital and transformation initiatives. You will work to help Senior Management and budget managers deliver on their budget responsibilities, provide direct financial support to develop strategic financial plans, and ensure these plans align with the Council's medium-term financial forecasts. Additionally, you will provide high-quality financial advice to Corporate Directors, Heads of Service, and budget managers, managing and coordinating a service finance team.
