What the Job Involves
As a Social Worker in the Looked After Children Service, you will manage cases of vulnerable clients, ensuring collaborative engagement in developing Life-story work. You will consistently apply the Signs of Safety practice model, work in diverse contexts such as mental ill health and immigration, and ensure compliance with laws and policies. Your role involves regular visits, holistic assessments, contingency planning, and risk assessment. You will lead meetings, contribute to professional development, and engage in continual learning and improvement practices.
