What the Job Involves
This role involves undertaking longer-term, complex social work interventions with older adults and physically disabled people. You will be responsible for conducting safeguarding enquiries, assessments, and unscheduled reviews under the Care Act 2014. Your responsibilities will also include engaging in complex mental capacity work, such as Court of Protection applications when necessary. Additionally, you will contribute to multi-disciplinary input into Continuing Health Care processes. As part of the team, you will participate in the duty rotation schedule, enhancing overall team efficiency and your own professional growth.
Skills
- Experience with various complex caseloads in OPPD
- Experience using IT databases (e.g., Mosaic/Liquid Logic)
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Safeguarding investigation experience
- 2 years' experience post-ASYE
- Experience working with adults with complex needs
