Who You Are
You are a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in managing major electrical engineering replacement and refurbishment schemes. You possess excellent communication skills, are self-motivated, and have the ability to work under pressure both autonomously and within a corporate team. Your extensive experience in a Social Housing environment equips you to handle its unique challenges. You hold qualifications in BS7671 18th Edition, Inspection & Testing, and a Level 3 Qualification in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
What the Job Involves
This role involves the delivery of electrical engineering works across specialist contracts, including refurbishment and replacement projects. You will design, procure, and supervise mechanical engineering projects, manage specialist electrical contracts ensuring best value, and oversee the preparation and implementation of design specifications. Your responsibilities include negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, strategic planning for future investments, and preparing reports for senior management. You will work closely with project managers, oversee contractor's work, and ensure certifications meet compliance standards.
