What the Job Involves:

This role contributes to Monmouthshire County Council's ambition to deliver a high-performing recycling service. Your primary responsibility will be the collection of various types of waste, such as food, garden, residual, hygiene, dry recyclables, and trade waste. Success in this role requires delivering high-quality service promptly, ensuring public areas are left clean and safe, monitoring for contaminated collections, and complying with safety practices. You may also be called upon as a relief HGV driver or to respond to emergencies like storm cleanups.
