Senior Environmental Health Technical Officer or Environmental Health Officer

Who You Are

You hold a degree or diploma in Environmental Health or a related subject, or have significant experience within Environmental Protection work. You are competent, enthusiastic, and highly motivated with excellent communication skills. You have a working knowledge of the nuisance provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and Licensing legislation. You are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

What the Job Involves

Your primary duties include investigating and responding to complaints related to statutory nuisances, assessing and approving s.61 applications, and permitting and responding to licensing consultations. You will be working within the Environmental Protection Team and will need to travel around the Borough.
