You are a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker with a passion for mental health. You have a strong understanding of the Professional Capabilities Framework and relevant legislation such as the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Care Act. With significant experience in mental health professional practice, you have held complex mental health caseloads and provided professional/clinical supervision to staff or students. Your communication skills are excellent, and you exhibit sound professional values, respect for service users, and a commitment to innovation and leadership in your role.

What the Job Involves

As a Senior Social Worker within the Community Mental Health Team, you will provide management, supervision, and consultation for team members and ensure the effective delivery of mental health services. You will manage incoming referrals, provide professional supervision, and act as a consultation point for complex assessments. Your responsibilities also include managing a small complex caseload, attending client reviews, and contributing to service/Team management and development. Additionally, you will undertake appraisals, ensure compliance with relevant policies, and partake in safeguarding and statutory duties.
