Who You Are
You are an experienced Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with a degree and registered with HCPC. You possess a strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and relevant legislation. You have a proven record of building effective working relationships and a commitment to professional development and exceptional service delivery. You thrive in a team-focused environment and have experience working with people with learning disabilities and managing transitions. Your communication and collaboration skills enable you to work efficiently with internal and external partners.
What the Job Involves
Your main goal is to contribute to making the Royal Borough of Kingston a top place to live and work by delivering high-quality Social Work or Occupational Therapy services within Adult Social Care. You will oversee a complex caseload, accept and assess referrals, comply with professional codes, and manage customer needs effectively. You will engage in team collaboration, ensuring service delivery meets set standards while handling escalations and safeguarding assessments. You will support cost-effective service commissioning, ensure compliance with policies, and work across teams to implement the council’s priorities.
