Speech and Language Therapist (Grade K)

Who You Are

We are searching for dedicated locum speech and language therapists who have a passion for working with children and their families in Tower Hamlets. You excel in developing innovative methods within SEND and thrive in collaborative environments. Ideally, you are available for a term time-only commitment of at least 6 months, working a minimum of 2 days a week.

What the job involves

Your role will involve:

• Running targeted-level groups with parents and children under 5, both in children and family centres and online
• Writing advice for education, health, and care needs assessments
• Delivering intervention for children under 5 with language difficulties

You will receive supervision and support from a senior Speech and Language Therapist with opportunities to work alongside an expanding team, as well as with educational psychologists and Early Help professionals.

Skills

• Right to Work in the UK
• Valid HCPC registration
• NQP competencies completed
• Experience with children with communication difficulties
• Experience in community settings
