You are a dedicated professional with experience in managing and delivering services for rough sleepers. You thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating resilience and a strategic vision to coordinate and improve service delivery outcomes for rough sleepers. With a commitment to community cohesion, you are capable of fostering strong internal and external partnerships and have a deep understanding of the complexities faced by rough sleepers. You are comfortable working collaboratively, communicating effectively, and leading a multidisciplinary team.

What the Job Involves

This role involves coordinating and managing Kingston Council’s strategic response to rough sleeping, in line with the Homelessness & Rough Sleeping Strategy and national policies. You will oversee the delivery of programs, act as the key liaison with governmental and non-governmental bodies, manage grant funding, and ensure robust financial practices. Leading a multi-disciplinary team, you will drive performance improvement, monitor and evaluate services, and lead on the commissioning of services for rough sleepers. Additionally, you will handle inquiries, draft protocols, and ensure compliance with policies, all while embedding principles of equality and diversity into the service.
